Media monitoring for organisations operating in Africa

For embassies, development organisations, investors and multinationals, Social Light tracks what African media is saying about you, your projects and your sector, in every market you work in, and reports it in English.

Who this is for

Why it is different from a global platform

Global monitoring platforms index the large international and national outlets well, and miss much of what decides a story locally: community radio, regional weeklies, local-language coverage and the social groups where a story starts. Our analysts read that coverage in its original language and context, and tell you what it means.

Questions

Do you report in English?

Yes. Coverage is read in the language it was published in, and alerts and briefs are written in English.

Can you cover several countries for one programme?

Yes. One account covers every country in your scope, with the same alerts and reports across all of them.

Can you monitor a country that is not listed here?

Yes. We set up monitoring in any African country on request, scoped to the outlets, languages and topics you need. Tell us the market and we will confirm the sources we can cover before you commit.

Can I try Social Light before paying?

Yes. Creating an account takes about ten minutes and does not ask for a card. Nothing is charged until you choose a package. You can also book a demo, or take our free media intelligence assessment.
